A Popart resin art glow in the dark lightbulb by Pierre Giraudon.
This one bears a sticker “WE laundry awards”
While working as a biologist in Canada in the 40s, he casted animals and other materials in resin for academic purposes. When he returned to France in 1949 he gradually began making works of art with this material. During the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s he created sculptures, lamp bases and other objects in resin.
Giraudon refused to call himself an artist, he considered himself a biologist.
