A gold flecked striped green bullicante and filigrana technique bowl, murano 1950.
Filigree glass is made with colorless, white, and sometimes colored canes. Filigrana originated on the island of Murano in the 16th century and continued until the 18th century. It saw a revival in the 19th century.
The bullicante technique inserts layers of bubbles into the glass in a grid pattern.
