Rough vintage 1960s stoneware bowl with an orange lava glaze by Jan van Erp, The Netherlands 1960s.
Large art ceramic centrepiece bowl has an orange lava glaze interior with a rough stoneware base.
Can be used as a fruit bowl, a vide-poche or keychain bowl or as a centrepiece platter.
Jan van erp (1914-1989) went to the art academy in den haag. From 1954 tot 1974 he worked in his own pottery atelier at waalre, the netherlands.
Condition report:
Very good vintage condition, some specks of glaze gone in the edges as seen on the pictures.
